A song I wrote whilst in Nepal after a beautiful connection with a doctor's wife with whom I shared minimal language and yet managed a deep communication. When I left she touched her heart and said to me "You have God." I was really affected by the way these people seemed to be able to see right through your eyes into your soul.
lyrics
You Have God
Look at me with earnest eyes
And feel the truth in your heart.
Feel the sound around you
and feel the source within
See the smiling faces that surround you
Look into them and see who you are
I see the Goddess in you as you stand in the moonlight
I see the Goddess in you as I watch you dancing in the moonlight
Dancing, splashing, twisting, turning,
Spiral patterns, spinning, swirling, dancing in the waves
Dancing, splashing patterns in the waves
Spinning, swirling patterns in the waves
Feel compassion in waves
Feel compassion in waves for who you are
Feel compassion
Feel, this is who you are.
You Have God
Look at me with earnest eyes
And feel the truth in your heart.
Feel the sound around you
and feel the source within
See the smiling faces that surround you
Look into them and see who you are
A silky, smooth, sultry voice weaving lyrical imagery upon a canvas of exquisite tonal contours. Immensely pleasurable. The bouncy cheer of " Little Bird" is a delightful contrast to the dusky jazz groove of this truly beautiful album. Much gratitude for you S J ! roddylloyd
